Lost and Found

Anyone who has ever been through a move knows there’s always at least one thing that goes missing from one place to another. It doesn’t matter how carefully you label your moving boxes or how much time you put into packing every crevice of your U-Haul, something is going to get lost.
_
It’s fortunate that most “things” can be replaced. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve made runs to the local #Goodwill or #SalvationArmy after a move to find replacements for kitchen items or to find a bookshelf or lamp.
_
In honor of Lost and Found Day I’d like to challenge you to think about a family or friend relationship that you valued and that brought you joy but may have waned a bit in the course of a big move.
_
Send a card or email or text to let that person know you were thinking about them and hope that they are well. Life will always throw more at us that we can handle under our own strength every day. But we have the power (and responsibility) to prioritize those life things so that we can walk in our full purpose.
