Learning Areas At Home

QUICK TIP #7: LEARNING AREAS AT HOME

_

📚 One of my favorite children’s books is Evan’s Corner in which a very smart mom divided her cramped family apartment into specific areas for each family member to have their own space.

_

📖 This book is a great motivator for creating fun and practical spaces in your home to promote learning.

_

🏠 You can create learning areas in your home too! Try these examples:

_

📚 1. A bookshelf that can be loaded with books, puzzles and word games to become a literacy center

_

🖍 2. A folding table and chair equipped with paper, pencils, markers and crayons can become a center for art and writing

_

🧸 3. A plastic bin stored under the bed and packed with wild animals, figures, and recycled plastic strawberry baskets can become a zoo or animal preserve

_

✨ It takes just a little imagination to show you the learning possibilities in the space you call home!

💁🏽‍♀️ How have you created fun learning spaces in your home?
